Natasha Sorrell, part of the English and maths team based at City, shared some fabulous work completed by her Level 1 students in Functional Skills English.
Functional Skills English students have been working on their reading and writing skills around the theme of International Women’s Day. Students were tasked to write a piece about women who inspire them or about the history of the day’s celebrations. Although their newsletter is a little late getting to you, the students wanted to share the fabulous ideas and articles that they produced.
Natasha is hoping to make this newsletter a more regular feature but in this issue you can find the following articles:
- World’s Inspirational Day by Michaela Broomhead – Prepare to Study in Travel and Aviation student
- International Working Women’s Day by Mohammed Binshaikh – Prepare to Study in Plumbing Student
- International Working Women’s Day!! By Mason Allen – Prepare to study in Plumbing Student
